Caden Price
Worship & Production Resident
What do you do at Christ City Church?
I assist the Worship & Production Director with forming a team musically and spiritually, like helping create worship set lists and lead worship. I also assist the Salt and Next Gen Directors with services and events.
How did Jesus change your life?
My dad is a pastor so I grew up going to church. My parents taught me to love Jesus and I made the decision to follow Christ, ask for forgiveness of my sins, and to declare that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. After that, I spent years caring more about others thinking I was a “perfect Christian” than I cared about my relationship with God. It wasn’t until college that I really started to prioritize following Christ because of who He is and what He’s done. Now, I try every day to become more like Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, from one degree of glory to the next.
What do you love about Huntsville?
I love how much Huntsville is growing. People from all around the country are moving here because they see how amazing this city is and how much greater it will continue to become! I’m also from Florida so seeing mountains all around is a pretty awesome thing to see.
What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I am fluent in American Sign Language. I took four years of it in high school and was involved in the deaf community around me which gave me even more practice.
If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
Well my mom says I wanted to be a clown… I’ll say an actor. It’s the closest I can get to being a superhero.
Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Mr. Milchick from Severance. I know he’s supposed to be an antagonist but I think he’s hilarious… and God’s grace extends to all…
Favorite way to spend a free Saturday?
Golfing. I could shoot anywhere from 86-105 but I’m gonna have a great time. I also enjoy playing sports with my friends. Whether it’s basketball, pickleball, disc golf, spikeball, volleyball, or anything else, I’m going to get way too competitive and have fun.
