Why We Give
We give because everything we have already belongs to God. Generosity isn't a burden or an obligation — it's a response. When we give, we declare that God is owner and we are faithful stewards of what He has entrusted to us.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." — 2 Corinthians 9:7
Scripture calls us to give intentionally, consistently, and joyfully — not as a reaction to a Sunday moment, but as a practiced discipline that shapes how we hold everything else. Every follower of Christ is called to give.
As you consider your own giving, ask: Does the way I handle money reflect my trust in God? Am I giving in a way that costs me something?
