What do you do at Christ City Church?

My role as the KiDS Lead is to create a safe, joyful, and gospel-centered Christ City KiDS environment.

How did Jesus change your life?

I grew up going to church and would have called myself a Christian, but I was really just a fan of Jesus who thought I didn't need saving because I was a "good person." After I graduated college, the Lord graciously revealed to me that I am a sinner in need of a Savior and that salvation is a free gift I could never earn. He has freed me from the burden of trying to be good enough, and now I get to enjoy Him forever.  

What do you love about Huntsville?

I love how Huntsville is a melting pot of locals who warmly welcome newcomers with good ol' Southern hospitality and transplants who are eager to invite you in and build community. Also, coming from the flat cornfields of northern Indiana, the mountains here are pretty jaw-dropping, and I hope the views never get old.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

I've been playing guitar for over 15 years! This might surprise you because if you heard me play, you'd probably guess I'm a beginner.

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be? 

Astronaut, and moving to Rocket City has me wondering if it's too late...

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?

Bruce Wayne, so I can be a passenger princess in the Batmobile.

Favorite way to spend a free Saturday?

Sleep in, coffee shop + Bible reading, tennis clinic, farmers market, lunch with friends, and IU football (GO HOOSIERS).
